Rajagiri St. Chavara CMI Public School, Manappuram, organized a Space Science Exhibition on 12 August 2025 at St. Chavara Hall and Library, commemorating the birth anniversary of Dr. Vikram Sarabhai, the Father of India’s Space Programme. The exhibition aimed to ignite scientific curiosity among students and promote awareness of India’s achievements in space research.
The programme featured rocket and satellite models, live demonstrations from Vivruti under the guidance of former ISRO scientists, a mobile planetarium show, and an immersive virtual reality experience. These sessions offered students valuable insights into astronomy, rocketry, and the wonders of space exploration.
Students from Classes I to XII actively participated in the event. With well-planned rotations, every student got the opportunity to experience the planetarium and the rocket exhibition without overcrowding, ensuring a smooth and engaging learning experience.
The exhibition was a grand success, sparking enthusiasm and excitement among students. It inspired them to “explore beyond the sky” and left a lasting impression on their young minds, motivating them to dream big and aim high in the field of science and technology.
