KERALAPPIRAVI CELEBRATION- 2025
Keralappiravi Celebration 2025
Rajagiri St. Chavara CMI Public School
The Keralappiravi Day, marking the formation of the state of Kerala on November 1, 1956, was celebrated in our school with great enthusiasm and pride. The programme began with an inspiring speech by our school Manager Rev. Fr. James pudussery who highlighted the history, cultural richness, and significance of Keralappiravi.
A variety of cultural programmes were presented by the students, showcasing the beauty of Kerala’s traditions. The highlights included Nadan Pattu, Panchari Melam presentation, Nadan Palaharakkada, traditional folk dances, and theme-based performances by students from classes 1 to 7. Exhibitions displayed by the 6th and 7th standard students brought alive the heritage and historical evolution of the state.
The celebration truly reflected the spirit of Kerala’s cultural legacy and unity. It helped students appreciate the diversity, traditions, and values that make Kerala unique. The programme concluded with the message to “love our state, respect our culture, and contribute to our nation.”
