Rajagiri St. Chavara CMI Public School proudly hosted the Malayala Manorama IAP Kutty Smart

Program on 10th September 2025 at Chavara Hall. The program commenced with a melodious prayer

by the school choir, setting a positive and spiritual tone for the event. The welcome address was

delivered by Master Harishankar P. Pai, Head Boy, who extended a warm greeting to all dignitaries,

teachers, students, and guests. The event was inaugurated by Shri Alex Varghese IAS, District

Collector of Alappuzha, who emphasized the importance of child welfare, education, and community

participation in nurturing future generations. This was followed by the Presidential Address by Rev. Fr.

James Puthussery CMI, Manager of RCPS, who highlighted the school’s vision and ongoing initiatives

towards holistic student development. The Keynote Address was delivered by Mr. T.M. Binoy, Deputy

Manager, Circulation Division, Malayala Manorama, Alappuzha, focusing on the media’s role in child

health and education. Rev. Fr. Jaison Parappilly CMI, Principal of RCPS, felicitated the guests and

speakers, acknowledging their valuable contributions and support. An awareness session was

conducted by Dr. O. Jose, State President NNF – Kerala and Professor of Pediatrics, Govt. Medical

College, Alappuzha. He shared valuable insights on child health, nutrition, and preventive care, making

the session both informative and engaging. The program concluded with a heartfelt vote of thanks by

Kumari Angeleena P. S., Head Girl, expressing gratitude to all dignitaries, teachers, students, and

organizers. The gathering ended with the Rajagiri Anthem, instilling a sense of pride and unity among

all attendees. The event was a remarkable success, reflecting the school’s strong commitment to child

welfare, education, and community engagement.
